Reference is made to the announcement dated 29 January 2003 by AmMerchant Bank Berhad ("AmMerchant Bank") on behalf of DIGI.
AmMerchant Bank, on behalf of DIGI, wishes to announce that the Company had on 27 June 2003 made an application to the KLSE for a further extension of time of six (6) months from 30 June 2003 to comply with paragraphs 3.05 and 8.15 of the Listing Requirements pertaining to public shareholding spread requirements.
On 25 June 2003, AmMerchant Bank, on behalf of DIGI, had applied to the KLSE to seek recognition of DIGI’s current level of public shareholding of 17.4% as an acceptable level of public spread which satisfies the amended provisions of the KLSE Listing Requirements pertaining to public shareholding spread requirements. This application is also pending the KLSE's approval as at to-date.
